Brent Harley
President, B.E.S., B.L.A., M.B.A.
Brent Skiing

Brent Harley has been involved in all aspects of resort development for the past thirty years.

With Bachelor degrees in environmental studies and landscape architecture, and a Masters of Business Administration, Brent has focused on mountain resort master planning, village planning and golf and mountain bike resort planning throughout Canada, the USA, Australia, Japan, Korea and New Zealand.

As an extension to the planning, Brent has also become very involved in the approval processes for these projects, working closely with his clients and the various government bodies to achieve the desired end results.

Living in Whistler since 1978 has afforded Brent the opportunity to participate in the planning of all aspects of that resorts' development. He has served on the Whistler Advisory Planning Commission and Advisory Design Panel and is an active participant in the ongoing issues of this world class destination. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, the Canada West Ski Areas Association and the National Ski Areas Association.

Bernard Messeguer
Computer Graphic Designer / GIS Technician, B.Eng
Bernard Skiing

Bernard brings a mix of technical and artistic abilities to the office. His studies were completed in the fields of engineering and computing. His work experience has focused on computing, in particular, computer graphics, presentations, 3D modeling and animation. He has experience in computer software development covering Technical Languages and Visual Basic. As a long time member of the BHA team since 1994, Bernard brings an intimate knowledge to the analysis and planning process, creating economic and time efficiencies passed on to each project.

Bernard has a diploma in conference and resort management. He is a fully certified Canadian Ski Instructor and Canadian Ski Coach and has been coaching skiing for many years. Bernard has skied and visited numerous ski resorts in Europe and through out the world. His summer passion is coaching soccer.

 
 
Nancy Harley

As an integral part of the company, Nancy is the behind the scenes person that helps keep BHA a successful business. Another long time local, Nancy manages to juggle a number of community volunteer positions with her work as the business manager of BHA.

 
 
Travis Wooller
Resort Planner, B.L.A.
Travis Boarding

Travis has a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and work experience primarily focused on computer modeling, 3d visualization and urban design. Travis assists in the development of base and mountain planning, site analysis, site grading, village design, ski trail layout, digital mapping, computer graphics and final report production.

Travis is an avid snowboarder and downhill mountain biker who recently joined the BHA team from New Zealand.

 
 
Shelagh Bridgwater

Shelagh has a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and diploma in computerized landscape architectural technology. Since joining the BHA team in 2002, Shelagh typically works on a variety of base area development, planning and design responsibilities including project managing, site analysis, concept generation, site design, site planning, grading details, village design, residential layout, resort master planning, digital mapping and graphic presentation.

An outdoor enthusiast, Shelagh is active in skiing, snowboarding, figure skating, hiking, golfing and mountain biking. She has experience coaching and instructing a variety of individuals and sports teams and is a fully certified Canadian Snowboard Instructor, Ski Instructor and Canskate/Canfigure Skate Instructor.

 
 
Sue Clark

A long time Whistler resident, Sue has been with BHA since 1997. A bookkeeping diploma and background in the service industry allows her to keep the office running smoothly while maintaining an active interest in the business of skiing. Outdoor pursuits include both downhill and cross country skiing, mountain biking and the almost obsolete sport of windsurfing!
