BHA Trail Night – Cherry on Top

On September 3 BHA staff ditched the computers and maps and picked up their shovels and buckets to put some time in on Cherry on Top, a mountain bike trail in Whistler, BC. Partnering with Olives Community Market and coordinated by the Whistler Off Road Cycling Association, the sponsored trail night was a way for BHA to give back to the trails and the mountain biking community that deliver so much fun every summer. The team of local volunteers and BHA staff put in a few good hours of digging, buffing out some trail sections, and enjoying a well-earned beverage at the end of the night. Just because the days are growing shorter and the weather colder doesn’t mean it’s time to put the bikes (or shovels!) away just yet. The Whistler Off Road Cycling Association has several trail nights scheduled before the snow flies (details on their website) and BHA will be out on the trails, riding and digging, until the brown powder turns white.

The team at BHA bring their passion for mountain biking to every trail project they tackle. Whether for the Bike @ Big White mountain bike park or the Nakusp and Arrow Lakes Trail Master Plan, BHA combines their skills in design and planning with their lived experiences and love of trails to create innovative, exciting, and sustainable trails systems. If there’s a project you think BHA’s skill and passion could help move from idea to reality, please give us a call (604.932.7002) or email (bha@brentharley.com). We’d love the opportunity to discuss your project.
