Once the Master Plan is in place, we work closely with our clients assisting in the approval processes. This includes applications for: Master Plan Approvals, Tenure Permits, Official Community Plan Amendments, Development Permit Approvals and Zoning Bylaw Approvals.

Design Guidelines

We have authored the “Guidelines to Alpine Ski Area Development in British Columbia” and the “All Season Resort Guidelines” for the Province of British Columbia. BHA has also created the development guidelines for a variety of ski resorts.

Policy Creation

BHA has been engaged on several occasions to assist the BC Provincial government, the Resort Municipality of Whistler and ski associations with the creation of resort development policy and best practices.
