At BHA mountain biking is an integral part of our identity and culture. We are on the front line of mountain bike trail network and bike park design and take every opportunity to get out on the trails.
We’re applying this passion, knowledge, and experience to projects such as the Big White Bike Park and the Pemberton Valley Recreational Trail Master Plan. We’re also sharing our knowledge and learning from others in the industry and broader mountain biking community, presenting at the Mountain Bike Tourism Association’s Mountain Bike Symposium and Canada West Ski Areas Association Spring Conference.
Beyond our work, we have been active in the Whistler mountain bike community for more than a decade, hosting the Annual Mountain Biking Toonie Race Event – The Tour De Trash where all profits go to the Whistler Off Road Cycling Association (WORCA). This effort is led by our staff, a group of passionate (and skilled!) mountain bikers. Whether racing in world-class events, such as the BC Bike Race (Ryan Robertson, GIS Specialist), working to repair and improve our local trail network (Sue Clark, Office Manager), or developing leading edge mountain bike trail networks, the BHA team enjoys sharing their passion for all things mountain bike. See you on the trail!
